                                    Registration and Check in will start at the Edinburg Auditorium at 4:30 p.m.

                                    Minimum Requirements to participate:
                                    Braid across the head
                                    3-5 flowers on braid
                                    Mexican dress

                                    The procession will start on the corner of 10th and McIntyre (in front of Edinburg Fire
                                    Department) and will stroll through McIntyre until we reach the festival on 7th and

     The Procession will start at 6:15/6:30

RGV, get your braids and unibrows ready! The City of Edinburg is seeking to establish a world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Frida Kahlo for the 5th anniversary of the City's FridaFest.

To participate, here are a few guidelines:

  • Come dressed to the event.
  • a unibrow
  • 3-5 flowers on your braid
  • a brad across the head
  • a pink/red rebozo/shawl
  • Mexican dress

Please pre-register for a ticket so we can have a proper count at the end and register one person per ticket.

After a count has been taken and the record established, we will walk in procession to the Festival on 7th St. and McIntyre to enjoy the rest of the 5th Annual FridaFest!
