Boulevard of Heroes
The Boulevard of Heroes honors local veterans who have bravely served our country. Each banner displayed throughout Edinburg represents the story of a hero—highlighting their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our nation. Explore the list below to learn more about each honored veteran.
Digital and paper versions of the application are available at the Edinburg Arts, Culture, and Events Center.
If you need assistance with scanning your veteran’s image/photo, please visit us at the Edinburg ACE Center during normal library hours.

The Boulevard of Heroes Banners Program is the City of Edinburg’s continued efforts to honor and recognize Edinburg’s brave men and women who are currently serving or have previously served our country. Selected veteran’s will have their photo and accompanying information gathered to be incorporated into a commemorative banner that will then be installed on a city light post along West University Drive, Hidalgo County Courthouse, and Closner Boulevard, also known as “The Boulevard of Heroes”.
