  • The Boulevard of Heroes Banners Program is the City of Edinburg’s continued efforts to honor and recognize Edinburg’s brave men and women who have previously served our country. Selected veteran’s will have their photo and accompanying information gathered to be incorporated into a commemorative banner that will then be installed on a city light post along West University Drive, Hidalgo County Courthouse, and Closner Boulevard, also known as “The Boulevard of Heroes”.

      (no weaponry, obscured faces, sunglasses, or combat/field uniforms- must be in Service Dress uniform)
