The City of Edinburg, in partnership with the Edinburg Arts Foundation, is excited to announce its new, Fall 2026 lineup of interactive dance classes and sessions at the Edinburg ACE Center, located at 315 W. McIntyre St., Edinburg, TX 78541. Step, spin, and create under the guidance of accomplished dancer Iridian Tienda from the renowned City of Edinburg Conceptos Dance Ensemble. Bringing many years of folklorico experience, Ms. Tienda will guide participants through comprehensive 8-day sessions dedicated to the vibrant traditions of Oaxaca, Sinaloa, and Costa Rica style dances.

• Dates: September 29- October 22 | Tuesdays and Thursdays
  - Class Dates: Sept. 29 & Oct. 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22

• Sessions: 

• Seniors Beginner Oaxaca | 3:00pm- 4:30pm

• Kids All Level Sinaloa | 4:45pm- 6:15pm

• Adults Beginner Costa Rica | 6:30pm- 8:00pm

• Location: Edinburg ACE Center |  315 W McIntyre St., Edinburg TX, 78541

• Cost: $100 per participant | Registration Deadline: Sept. 29th

• Supplies Included: Decorative accessories (dependent on class style)

• Materials Needed: Exercise wear, practice bottoms (skirt or trousers)

• All participants will learn the basics of proper posture, fundamental footwork, and essential skirt-work and/or hand-work coordination in order to learn vibrant, regional folk dances.
