Edinburg, Texas – The City of Edinburg’s Summer Music Concert Series continues on Saturday, July 12, 2025, with an electrifying night of live music, food vendors and family fun activities at the Promenade Park Amphitheater! Get ready to jam as Strangelove, the nation’s top tribute to the legendary electronic band Depeche Mode, takes the stage for an unforgettable performance. This free event guarantees high energy, community fun, and classic hits that will have the crowd singing along all night.

Get ready to turn back the clock and crank up the volume, because the Promenade Amphitheatre is bringing the ultimate blast from the past to your summer! On July 12th, 2025, join us under the stars for a night of iconic hits, throwback vibes, and total nostalgia with Strange Love, Escape, and Muzik—three tribute bands guaranteed to take you on a musical journey through the best of the ‘80s and ‘90s! Think leg warmers, flannel shirts, boomboxes, and boy bands. A high-energy RGV local band Muzik starts up the night with a high-energy set packed with your favorite pop, rock and funk hits from the ‘80s and ‘90s. From Madonna to Nirvana, from Prince to TLC, it’s a dance party time warp you won’t want to miss! Then, Escape, the ultimate Journey tribute band, will keep the groove going with outrageous energy from iconic hit classics like “Don’t Stop Believing” and “Any Way You Want It” that will guarantee to get the crowd dancing. Bring your cell phone flashlights for the ultimate power ballad moment. The concert headliner StrangeLove is a Depeche Mode Experience tribute band that delivers an electronic synth-fueled magic of Depeche Mode with a show so spot-on it will transport you back to the golden age of 80’s electronic. From “Enjoy the Silence” to “Personal Jesus” and “Just Can’t Get Enough”, get ready for a moody, magnificent ride. 

Food vendors! Cold drinks ! Retro vibes! Come early for eats, treats, and pre-show fun. Costumes and throwback outfits are encouraged—because everything’s better with neon! Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for comfort.
