City of Edinburg to Host Miracle on McIntyre – A Two-Day Holiday Celebration
The City of Edinburg is welcoming the holiday season with Miracle on McIntyre, a two-day holiday celebration filled with lights, music, shopping, and family-friendly fun in the heart of downtown.
🎄 Thursday, December 4 – Tree Lighting & Holiday Market
Kick off the season at the Promenade Park Amphitheater (201 W. McIntyre St.) with the official Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. The Amphitheater will glow with festive décor, holiday music, and carolers as the city’s Christmas tree is lit for all to enjoy.
Following the ceremony, guests can stroll through the Holiday Market from 6:00–9:00 p.m., featuring:
Food vendors and seasonal treats
Unique holiday gifts and local artisans
Photo opportunities with Santa
🎥 Friday, December 5 – Night of Lights Parade & Holiday Market
The celebration continues on Friday with the Night of Lights Parade, presented by the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce. The parade begins at 7:00 p.m. along Closner Boulevard, turning Downtown Edinburg into a festive wonderland with the theme “Cinema Christmas.” Spectators can line the route to enjoy illuminated floats, music, and holiday spirit.
The Edinburg Holiday Market will also be open from 6:00–10:00 p.m., offering even more chances to shop, eat, and celebrate with family and friends.
