Private Fidel A. Villarreal

Gunner, Army Air Forces, 97th Bomber Group, Heavy, 340th Bomber Squadron. PVT Villareal gave his life on August 11, 1942 when the B-17 he was in crashed into the Cadair Berwyn mountain due to bad weather and poor visibility near Montgomeryshire, Wales. He is laid to rest at the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas.
