Private Jose M. Yanez

Army, 301st Infantry Regiment, 94th Infantry Division. PVT Yanez was killed in action against German Forces on March 1, 1945 in the Saar Region of Germany. He is laid to rest at the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
