Private First-Class Ernesto D. Lopez

 Army, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. PFC Lopez was killed in action on August 1, 1944. He is laid to rest at Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, France. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Silver Star for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action against the enemy.
