Staff Sergeant Boyce D. Lomax

Army 3d Battalion 141st Infantry Regiment, 36th Infantry Division. SSGT Lomax was killed in action on January 1, 1945 in the vicinity of Bitche, France. He was awarded the Purple Heart, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the Distinguished Service Cross for extraordinary heroism, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty at the cost of his life.
