Private First-Class Alfonso Flores

Army, 300th Engineer Combat Battalion. PFC Flores was on board Landing Ship Tank-523 when it was sunk. He was considered Missing in Action and was officially memorialized on June 19, 1944. He is honored on the Tablets of the Missing in the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, France. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
