Captain Joseph M. Wilsher

Army, Helicopter Pilot, 1st Aviation Brigade, 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry, A Troop. CPT Wilsher gave his life on February 24, 1971 from non-hostile action in the Binh Duong province of South Vietnam. He is laid to rest at the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Air Medal.
