Private First-Class Lionel A. Ryan

Marine Corps, Rifleman, 1st Marine Division, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, H S Company. PFC Ryan was killed in action on September 5, 1968 while on an operation in Quang Nam province of South Vietnam. He is laid to rest at the Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen, Texas. He was awarded the Purple Heart
