Colonel Woodrow H. Wilburn
Air Force, Electronic Warfare Officer. Col Wilburn was declared Missing in Action on February 4, 1967 after his plane was struck down during a mission. He was officially memorialized on April 29, 1978. His remains were returned in 1989. He is honored at the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is laid to rest at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. He was awarded the Silver Star, Air Medal and the Purple Heart.
