Marine Corps, Machine Gunner, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, M Company. PVT Espinoza was killed in action on January 1, 1968 near the Gio Linh Village in the Quang Tri province of South Vietnam. He is laid to rest at the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas.
