Private First-Class Juan L. Contreras

Marine Corps, Rifleman, 1st Marine Division, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, E Company. PFC Contreras gave his life on May 15, 1969 in the Quang Nam province of South Vietnam. He is laid to rest at the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
