Private First-Class Luis A. Alaniz Jr

Army, Light Weapons Infantry, 5th Infantry Division, 1st Battalion, 61st Infantry, C Company. PFC Alaniz was killed in action on February 5, 1970 in the Quang Tri province of South Vietnam. He is laid to rest at the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
